Bookaroundthecorner becomes Emma

After Iris’s comment about not knowing my name and various BATC or Bookaround and fastidious Book Around The Corner, I’ve decided to give myself a first name to make your life easier.

I’ve chosen Emma. Because it’s close to my real first name, because it can be said in French and in English and because Emma Woodhouse is definitely a funny character.

I’m keeping the same Gravatar, I won’t make Mafalda disappear, I’m too fond of her.

See you soon in other posts and comments.

I must admit it felt akward to call you or refer to you as bookaroundthercorner which is long. On the other hand why not use the real name? It is your choice, I do of course respect it. Emma it is then. Hmmm… I wonder what name I would choose if I used an alias.

Why not use the real one? Because it sounds awful in English (and the nickname is worse. Sounds like I’m something to eat) and I’m afraid it might attract porn spams.

      Thanks.
I got an Italian novel about an Emma who owns a book store. Published by 10:18 I had to try it.

Aire(s) Libre(s), ça commence ici.
